ABOUT

Coincan is a Facebook application allowing users to trade stocks in a virtual market.

Something Splendid, with their unquivering ability to make projects unique and just plain awesome, came up with the idea of creating a world of iconic coin-cans.

We helped them create what we think is possibly the most unlikely, but amazingly successful, character creator out there. People have the ability to select from hundreds of facial features, clothing styles, accessories and hair styles to create their unique avatars.

Coin cans can then be challenged against each other in a strange twist on the "hot or not" idea, used in minigames such as our very own Catch game, printed out to fit real coin cans (beans tins) or even purchased on a t-shirt or mouse-pad!.
